when asked by red clay to submit designs for their "homegating project" for dillard's, i was a little overwhelmed that i would need to both learn what the heck this thing called football is and design for people who have loved the game for a long time. 3 days and a line of graphics for napkins, serveware and appetizer plates later, i might be starting to get why football is so thrilling to watch.
being a sucker for a great diagram, i was captivated by playbooks and abstracted the forms from major plays in football history. now that dillard's department store has expressed interest in producing and selling the napkin line...i just might have to watch some football. my boyfriend will be so pleased.
